“And the yellow sunflower by the brook, in autumn beauty stood.”
~ William Cullen Bryant
There are so many wonderful features in the making of a home. This is a place where I would love for you to share your love for anything home-related. Homemakinghomeschooling and homesteading are all a part of the lovely art of home-making!

~~Please link up posts in the spirit of Titus 2 and Proverbs 31 (such as recipes, godly encouragement, DIY's, frugal living, child-raising, medicine making, preparedness, gardening, home decoration, school lessons, sewing, crafts, etc). ~~ You are welcome to share as many posts as you like!

~ Today we are sharing a "post from the past" ~

{This is where I feature a post from the link up archives that I have tried and appreciated.}

Homemade Chicken Pot Pie by A Revival for Homemakers  (Archive Date: August 2016)

Sometimes "real recipes" can be a bit restricting when trying to cook based off of what you have.  Connie shared her quick way to make pot pie and we made a nice meal from it! We took the concept of a normal pot pie filling. However, instead of including a bag of frozen peas, I added my chopped up bag of frozen, cubed zucchini (read here and you will understand). We dolloped the top with homemade gluten-free biscuit dough and so forth. Visit here for the practical recipe inspirations as well as encouragement from an older, believing woman who has been through a lot in her life and lived to see many blessings!
