The Art of Home-Making Mondays ~ Please Join Us ~ Link Up #26

"There is great satisfaction in making something out of nothing, in restoring some old cast-off to a place of usefulness and beauty, or rescuing some discarded piece of wood, stone or metal from the dump and turning it into an object that has purpose and charm in your home."
~ Edith Schaeffer, The Hidden Art of Homemaking

There are so many wonderful features in the making of a home. This is a place where I would love for you to share your love for anything home-related. Homemaking, homeschooling and homesteading are all a part of the lovely art of home-making!

~~Please link up posts in the spirit of Titus 2 and Proverbs 31 (such as recipes, godly encouragement, DIY's, frugal living, child-raising, medicine making, preparedness, gardening, home decoration, school lessons, etc).~~ You are welcome to share as many posts as you like!

* Sorry, no features this week, we are visiting with family :) *

For the sake of our readers, please link up appropriate and wholesome home-related articles and leave out any giveaways, advertisements, etc. Thank you for understanding! I can't wait to see what you all have to share!

  2. Love that quote and really, it is true. A couple of weeks ago I took the old crib springs and propped it on a table against the wall. I then used clothes pins or "s" hooks to attach pictures and things to it. I also put a fall garland at the top. I first saw the idea on pinterest and I just love the look of it, knowing that my children slept on a mattress on those springs! ;) Thanks for hosting today.

  3. Love the quote from Edith Schaeffer's book! The Hidden Art of Homemaking was the book that made me see homemaking in a new and beautiful light--as an art and a calling, not merely a duty.

Thank you, JES, for hosting the link-up; blessings to you! :-)
